Caitlin is a Licensed Master Social Worker (MSW, LSW) with experience providing services for individuals and families who are impacted by a variety of difficulties ranging anywhere from anxiety, depression, complicated grief, to communication difficulties, end of life issues, and more. Caitlin received both her Master’s Degree in Social Work and her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from Rutgers University in New Jersey.
Caitlin has experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Schema, and Motivational Interviewing. In addition, Caitlin is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT), with a passion for including mindfulness and relaxation techniques into her work with clients who are open to and interested in exploring this modality.
Caitlin has worked in several different settings prior to working in private practice: a community mental health clinic, outpatient case management, long-term care/hospice, intensive outpatient for mental health, and partial hospitalization for mental health.
Caitlin utilizes her knowledge in a variety of therapeutic interventions to create a custom, person-centered approach for each client. Caitlin enjoys connecting with individuals to create a strong partnership to aid in working towards their personal goals and reducing the impact of their symptoms. Caitlin encourages a collaborative approach with each client, and welcomes clients of any demographic, situation, and anyone over the age of 15.
